Watch our conversation with Dr Lena Jayyusi discussing her book 'Jerusalem Interrupted: Modernity and Colonial Transformation 1917-Present'. Published by Olive Branch Press, the book won the Palestine Book Awards Memoir Prize in 2015.

Dr Jayyusi is Professor Emeritus at Zayed University's College of Communication and Media in the UAE. Author of 'Categorization and the Moral Order', she has published works in media and cultural studies, film and visuality, memory and narrative, Palestinian national identity, and the discourses of international law and the Gaza war.
