Children of the Stone chronicles Israel’s forty-seven year occupation of the west bank as it shaped the life of one remarkable boy: Ramzi, a stone-throwing kid raised in a refugee camp.
At ten years old, Ramzi is a fully politicised, committed and charismatic activist. He is also a deeply traumatised child who finds solace and empowerment in an unlikely place: the viola.
Ramzi makes music his mission, resolving to bring its transformative power to other children by opening music schools across Palestine, including three in refugee camps.
