Somdeep Sen is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Social Sciences and Business at Roskilde University. He has a PhD in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen. His research foci include postcolonialism, settler colonialism, spatial politics and migration. Somdeep has conducted fieldwork in Palestine, Turkey, Egypt, Iran, Bangladesh, India, Tanzania, Mexico and Bosnia-Herzegovina. He is the author of the forthcoming book Decolonizing Palestine: Hamas between the Anticolonial and the Postcolonial (Cornell University Press, 2020) and has co-edited Syrian Refugee Children in the Middle East and Europe: Integrating the Young and Exiled (Routledge, 2018). Somdeep’s work has also appeared in the London Review of Books, The Huffington Post, Open Democracy, The Palestine Chronicle, The Diplomatic Courier and Al-Ahram Weekly.
