Jamil Sherif is a community organiser at the Muslim Council of Britain and writer. His most recent book is a comparative biography of Maududi and Malek Bennabi (Facets of Faith, published by IBT, Kuala Lumpur). He is currently working on a project to promote an archival culture within British Muslim civil society institutions.
